Dashboard Overview
Your command center for staying on top of incidents and team activity.
What You'll See
The dashboard is the first screen you see after signing in. It gives you a snapshot of what needs attention right now, what's changed recently, and where things stand across your organization.
Incident Summary
At the top of the dashboard, you'll see key counts for your organization:
- Open incidents: How many incidents are currently in an active status (Submitted, Under Review, Awaiting Response, or Escalated)
- Urgent: Incidents flagged as urgent that haven't been resolved yet
- Awaiting response: Incidents where a reviewer is waiting on the reporter for more information
- Closed this month: How many incidents were resolved in the current month
Recent Activity
Below the summary, you'll see a feed of recent activity across your organization:
- New incidents submitted
- Status changes
- Reviewer assignments and reassignments
- Comments and follow-ups
Click on any activity item to jump directly to the relevant incident.
Your Assignments
If you're a Reviewer or above, you'll see a section showing incidents assigned specifically to you. These are your priority — they're waiting for your action. Overdue assignments are highlighted so you can address them first.
What Changes by Role
The dashboard adapts based on your role:
- Reporters see a simplified view: their own submitted incidents, any that need their response, and a button to create a new incident. Reporters do not see bulk actions, advanced filters (such as ministry, location, reviewer, or reporter filters), export, or import features.
- Reviewers see open incidents, their assignments, recent activity, and pending intake submissions for incidents they have access to
- Privileged Reviewers, Administrators, and Owners see the full organizational view: all incident counts, team activity, and pending intake submissions
Quick Actions
From the dashboard you can:
- Create a new incident — click the "New Incident" button or press
N - Search incidents — use the search bar or press
/ - View all incidents — click through to the full incident list with filtering and sorting
