Account & Profile
Manage your personal settings, security, and notification preferences.
Your Profile
Access your profile settings by clicking your avatar in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar, or navigate to the Profile page directly.
From your profile, you can update:
- Display name: How your name appears to other team members on incidents and comments
- Email address: Used for login and email notifications
- Avatar: Upload a profile photo so your team can identify you at a glance
Security
Changing Your Password
To change your password:
- Go to Profile
- Find the Security section
- Click Change Password
- Enter your new password and confirm it
If you've forgotten your password and can't sign in, use the "Forgot password?" link on the login page to receive a reset email.
Email Notifications
Control which notifications you receive via email:
- Go to Profile
- Find the Email Notifications section
- Toggle the types of emails you want to receive
In-app notifications are always delivered regardless of your email preferences. Email settings only affect what gets sent to your inbox.
Switching Organizations
If you belong to multiple organizations (for example, working with multiple churches), you can switch between them using the organization selector in the sidebar. Each organization has its own incidents, settings, and team members — your data is completely separate between organizations.
Deleting Your Account
If you need to remove yourself from an organization:
- Go to Profile
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
- Click Delete My Account
- Confirm by typing
DELETE
Important things to know about account deletion:
- Your incidents and activity remain in the system for audit trail integrity
- You will lose access to the organization immediately
- If you are the sole Owner, you must transfer ownership before deleting your account
- This action cannot be undone — you would need a new invitation to rejoin
